Second Life land stores have a broad selection of different types of land and sometimes even whole islands.
Reacting to the high demand for land and islands, Linden Lab has introduced a new and comfortable tool to give residents the possibility to purchase land: the Land Store
Admission for the Land Store have residents, who fulfill the common requirements for land ownership. Such as an active (Premium-)Account, they apply to the terms of use and creditworthiness. Once the resident logs in the Land Store, he will find the above overview. On the left side the resident will find additional information to the Land Store. The map on the right hand side is the main part of the Land Store.
Go to you local land store now!
With one simple click on a parcel of land the resident reserves a piece of land and it will be moved to the shopping cart. After checking out, a page will be displayed where the resident can reserve or buy the land straight away.
Choosing the option "Reservation" will start an auction. The first and highest bit will be from this resident. Reserving a peace of land is a good option, when the resident is not quite sure, whether he would like to buy the land later on. It will secure him an option to build on the land after he gains ownership.
If the resident selects the option "purchase", he will be billed with the price of the land. Usually within 7 to 14 workdays the land will be fully available to him.
